Quote by TexcapYup! And while there are plenty of positives that go with collecting them, a few of the negatives are tough hurdles -- the most prominent being that they're:

(1) Expensive -- though Gashapon figures are a good alternative for not being able to pick up the large figures for those interested. I know I like 'em.

(2) Space quickly becomes an issue (there are only so many surfaces, particularly if you don't want them overrunning the place).

yep... you are absolutely right, i have been taking them for a long time and slowly, but not always are expensive, well of course, the nice ones are too much expensive :P.. and... there is no more space in my room... well... now i think about it... the roof is still clean ^^ heh.

anyway, thx you a lot for replying, see you! :D

Quote by Texcap"Wow!"

When browsing through recently submitted wallpapers I often just like to quickly see what jumps out at me before clicking on the image to look at it closer -- and this one immediately caught my eye. Whoever crafted the original image deserves an awful lot of credit for their artistic skill.

And truth be told, after seeing the preview, this wall is easily one of the best I've seen here at Minitokyo, which is saying alot. From the work you had to do to make it even crisper than it already was, to a good eye for the striking image itself -- excellent work accross the board.

Thanks for the comment on "Serenity"!

hello,
just wanted to thank you for your detailed comment on my GITS wallpaper. true, i have to face often comments like it's "too busy", but that's my style and i really try to give my best.

bye:-)

Quote by TexcapYea, don't be hard on yourself with this one, by far it is one of the best AMG-related wallpapers I've had the good pleasure of stumbling upon. The background not only incorporates Bells foreground figure amazingly well, but it's very interesting in it's own right with your choice of colors, textures, and symbols. Great eye for a worthwhile subject as well!

Excellent work all around -- keep it up!

Quote by Texcap"If you're gonna play in Texas, ya gotta have a fiddle in the band."

A native Texan, a fiddle is music to my ears (as is the violin, which is simply played in a different manner) and it certainly doesn't hurt that Bell is the one playing it! Excellent work on the wall. The texture and design work stands out immediately, and it does a great job of contributing to the feel of the wall.

Good stuff!

thanks a lot for your comments on mt Gone with the Wind and Broad DayLight wallpapers! i'm glad you liked them! :)
have a nice day!

Quote by TexcapThis image had already stuck out to me while going through the submissions thanks to it's color scheme, and complex layout, but after reading the inspiration behind it re: vertigo, it's that much better than it already was.

Excellent work.

thanks for the compliment ^^

Quote by TexcapSpicy foods? Now you're speaking a Texans language!

I don't know what hot food I like the most, as I live on the stuff, but I know I've got a real soft spot for peppered beef jerky (and I'm not talking table-top pepper), chili, salsa, and just about anything meat-related that I can add local sauces to. I know, didn't narrow that down much.

I also like several Asian dishes that feature some tasty spices.

For the record: The hottest thing I've ever eaten, to this day, was a Loacian dry Chili (the native wouldn't touch it). I'm surprised I'm still here to talk about it...or that I can talk.

Hey Texcap! :D

I'm just dropping by to say thanks for replying on my What hot and spicy foods do u like the MOST! thread! :)

Ah! This is making me soooo hungry! Mm.. You can't talk yet but you can type.. ^^ Yeah! Asian foods are my favourite! X-P Speaking of local sauces, I love hot chili paste (made from 100% hot chillies) when you add it in any dish it becomes super nice! Yummy! >_<
